Minecraft: Trails & Tales
For the second time in a row, we got the honor of producing the trailer for Minecraft’s yearly update. Last year’s trailer, “The Wild Update” celebrated the variety of playstyles; this time, we celebrate the variety of features. The features in this year’s update have multiple uses and depend on the player’s creativity to unlock them. You can ride camels, hatch sniffers, trim your armor, enjoy the cherry groves, dig an archaeology site, and so much more!

Four stories intertwined
In this trailer we get to follow four individual characters on four different journeys in the Minecraft world, showcasing how Minecraft can be played in a multitude of ways.
Steve is on a never-ending search for action, sometimes biting off more than he can chew. Ari is role-playing an archaeologist on the look-out for ancient pottery shards in the desert. Zuri has settled down in a quiet cherry grove and built a magnificent sniffer sanctuary, whilst Alex acts like the explorer binding the individuals trails together. On her quest collecting mob heads, she travels vast distances, bumping into the other players along the road.
The story is an up-tempo journey through a variety of biomes, each shot carefully filled to the brim with the new features of the update, with everything from bamboo rafts and hanging signs, to camels and trimmed armour.
