Komatsu – Here's to progress

For Komatsu’s global Here’s to Progress campaign, we at Brikk had the opportunity to visualize a journey spanning more than a century of engineering on Earth to a possible future where that same technology could help humanity build on the Moon.

Komatsu is currently researching how future construction machinery could operate in the Moon’s extreme environment – with low gravity, dramatic temperature shifts, and conditions entirely different from those on Earth.

Our task was to bring these ideas to life through animation and create a visual world where heavy engineering meets something more playful and imaginative. The film moves between Komatsu’s history, today’s technology, and a vision of what might come next.

It was a project that suited us perfectly: big machines, big ideas, and the opportunity to use animation to make complex technology feel both human and engaging.
