Trailer for Kingdom Eighties

Kingdom Eighties is a revamp of the classic pixel-art indie-game series. Kingdom from Raw Fury. Kingdom Eighties is set in an 80s environment with BMX bikes, summer camps, and redwood forests. In the trailer, we follow our hero racing through the woods, hunted by one of the monsters from the game. However, he just managed to escape before the monster was about to take him.

The Kingdom Eighties trailer is animated in the style of classic 80s animation. The trailer is made in a mix between 3D and 2D animation, where all the characters are traditionally animated. The bike is a 3D render. All backgrounds are painted in 2D then the 2D layers are positioned in 3D space.

På bilderna nedan kan man se olika uppdelningar av några scener. Alla scener är uppdelade i en 3D-rymd för att skapa en parallax effekt när kameran rör sig i X, Y och Z. När vi byggt upp scenen med bakgrunds elementen så placerar vi ut våra karaktärs animationer och skapar kamera animationerna.
