Minecraft Live is back, and this year, we’re turning up the energy with an all-out dance party!
Now held twice a year, this virtual event delivers exciting updates on upcoming game releases while also providing valuable insights from the developers. At Brikk, we had the honor of animating, producing, and directing this year’s announcement video—an opportunity we embraced with great enthusiasm.
When the Minecraft Live team gave us full creative freedom, they also provided a reference that immediately resonated with us: Daft Punk’s iconic music video Around the World. Inspired by this, we set out to craft a vibrant and rhythmic film that truly captures the creative and playful spirit of Minecraft Live 2025. To achieve this, our team placed a strong emphasis on movement, tempo, and expression, ensuring that everything comes together in a way that feels both dynamic and immersive.
All in all, this project has been an absolute joy to work on, and we can’t wait to hear what you think!
